2. Show our distracted society who you are!

Mental health problems can affect anyone at any time, especially during exams when your head feels like it is going to explode. Some of us have a part time job, could be dealing with personal problems including family members or your partner. One issue that is still very understated and ignored is the current expectation of the social society your personal performance. So many people have to deal with exactions of their family expectations and performance. Personal drive and expectations can also amount considerable pressure mental pressure and also be detrimental to your results and mental health.

Finally there is the social expectations of the other public. What is the social norm? the idea that you’re meant to be at certain points in your life at a certain age. With a certain house, career and if you fail to reach that you are some sort of a failure.

Each persons problems are as unique and individual as them as a person.

The best way of being successful is to just do what you have ever wanted to do. So just go out there and show the world that you are able to do whatever feels good. Show them who you are, dress what you like, talk about topics you are interested in and act how you really are! Don’t make anything up, only because you want to be liked and loved. The ones who really care are always going to be with you, by your side and on your side. Of course, you will have to take defeats at some point, but in the end it will be worth it.

Much love, Lena

  1. Dear Lena, what a good post! It’s hard sometimes to show who you really are but in the end of the day beeing yourself is important for your personality. I love your style and I’m looking forward to read more of your work.

  2. Hi Lena!
„Each persons problems are as unique and individual as them as a person.“
After I had read that sentence, I decided that you must be a quite kind person.
Mental health problems as a consequence of foreign expectations is a widespread phenomenon.
The adoption that individuals have to correspond to a defined standard is a popular fallacy – thank you for putting my thoughts into your words.
I can hardly wait for your next flash of genius.
    Kind regards, Anja.
